Summer timetable launches on 31 March with new destinations and new services

Mitteldeutsche Flughafen airports switch to their summer timetable on Sunday 31 March. Numerous airlines and tour operators offer tourists and business travellers a wide range of city breaks and holiday destinations in Europe, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and on the Red Sea and Black Sea from both Leipzig/Halle and Dresden. Holidays in destinations in Turkey, Spain, Egypt and Greece are particularly popular this year.

Götz Ahmelmann, chairman of the boards of Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG and Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports: “Our summer timetable contains attractive offers for every type of holiday. Numerous tour operators offer package holidays to popular resorts from both airports. What is more, we offer plenty of connecting flights to national and international hub airports. And for those who prefer to arrange their own holiday, both airports are offering a range of new low-cost flights. As an extra benefit, passengers can park at the airports at extremely low cost.”

The highest number of tourist departures per week in the summer timetable are to Antalya, Palma de Mallorca and Hurghada.
