More flights from Dresden to Stuttgart and Düsseldorf

From the end of October, Eurowings will be flying more often between Dresden and Stuttgart. Compared to last winter season, the number of flights per week will increase from 12 to 18. From Monday to Friday the airline will be operating a third daily flight from Dresden at 20:25, and there will also be a new Sunday flight to the Baden-Württemberg state capital.

Eurowings will be operating an Airbus A319, an A320 and a Bombardier DHC- 8-400 on these connections. The Lufthansa Group airline has 14 weekly flights from Dresden to Stuttgart in the current summer timetable.

Markus Kopp, CEO of Mitteldeutscher Flughafen AG and General Manager of Flughafen Dresden GmbH:
“We are delighted that our partner Eurowings is increasing the number of scheduled flights it offers at Dresden Airport and is introducing an evening connection to Stuttgart. This will give business travellers and day trippers greater flexibility in planning their trips. Now they can choose whether they would rather fly back in the afternoon or the evening.”

Other flight routes in the winter timetable 2018/19:

Eurowings will be flying to Düsseldorf up to 25 times a week. That makes two flights more per week than in the same period last year and means that the airline will be connecting Dresden to the aviation hub up to four times a day.

In addition, Eurowings will be offering up to three flights a day to Cologne/Bonn Airport and up to three weekly flights to Palma de Mallorca.
