LEJ: More flights than before the Covid-19 crisis

Leipzig/Halle Airport is the first airport in Germany to have registered more flights in August than before the Covid-19 crisis

DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (the German air traffic control company) recorded 6,693 aircraft movements, 5 percent more than in the comparable month of August 2019. The airport benefitted from the increasing numbers of holiday flights and from the ongoing boom in freight traffic.
