Holiday fun at Dresden Airport: Five exciting guided tours for visitors of all ages every week

How high is the tower? What does the yellow and black chequered vehicle on the tarmac do? Do aircraft always take off in the same direction?

Dresden Airport’s tour guides will be more than happy to answer questions just like these on our exciting guided tours in Saxony’s summer school holidays. We offer a choice of Mini, Maxi or Summer Evening tours. All tours leave from the information desk on the Arrivals level in the terminal. Just like passengers, participants will pass through security. Then they will take a bus ride out onto the apron to watch aircraft being handled. On the Maxi or Evening Tour, they will also get to see the airport fire brigade’s firefighting vehicles, such as the 1250 hp Panther 8x8.
