Erich Staake to retire from the Supervisory Board
The Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, Erich Staake, is to leave the official body.
“The five-year period in office on the Supervisory Board at Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG is scheduled to end on 27 August 2021. During the discussions about staffing the board during the next five years, the current Chairperson, Erich Staake, has indicated that he will no longer be available for a new period in office after working on the Board for 12 years and because he has reached retirement age. Expressing his full understanding for this decision, Saxony’s Finance Minister, Hartmut Vorjohann, acting as the representative of the shareholder and Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, thanked Mr Staake for his many years of service related to the successful development of MFAG, which has been substantially connected to the efforts of Erich Staake and will continue to be so.” (Source: Saxon State Ministry of Finance)
