Early Christmas presents: Dresden Airport donates play...

On Thursday morning, Dresden Airport presented two municipal day nurseries in the north of Dresden with play equipment and vouchers for guided tours of the airport. Götz Ahmelmann, chairman of the boards of Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG and Flughafen Dresden GmbH, welcomed 30 children, nursery staff and Christian Wintrich, head of the Klotzsche/Pieschen district council office, to the terminal. The Theos Integrations-Kita day nursery in Klotzsche was given an indoor slide and the Piffikus day nursery in Hellerau was presented with a memory tree.

The play equipment is from the children’s play corner on the Departures level in the public area. Following a revamp by toy manufacturers Sieper GmbH, the corner is scheduled to be re-opened in January 2019, equipped with SIKU toys and equipment.
