The parent company of Flughafen Dresden GmbH and Flughafen Leipzig/Halle GmbH is Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG – and the latter has another subsidiary, the ground services provider, PortGround GmbH. The shareholders in Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG are the Free State of Saxony, the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the cities of Leipzig, Dresden and Halle/Saale.
