Passenger advice
The trade union ver.di has called for warning strikes at several airports in Germany as part of the collective bargaining strike in the public sector and ground handling services and as part of the collective bargaining for aviation security. At Leipzig/Halle Airport, the strikes will take place between 05:00 am on Monday, 10 March 2025 and 07:00 am on Tuesday, 11 March 2025. The warning strikes will take place nationwide on Monday, 10 March 2025, 00:00 am to 11:59 pm. There will be considerable restrictions and cancellations in passenger traffic during this time. Please contact your airline or tour operator in good time to find out about your flight.
